STC Silver Hawks PPD Summer Camp 2021
PPD - Winter Session - Coming Soon!!
What is the Prep Player Development (PPD)?
The PPD program is a softball training clinic targeted to players 10 yrs and younger. PPD instructors are Lightning-STC coaches and current players. Sessions will focus on introducing core fundamentals of throwing, infield, outfield techniques and hitting. Coaches will also introduce basic softball strategy. Previous playing experience is not required. Each session will consist of small groups to maximize coach to player instruction, drill repetition and player feedback.
When & Where?
This session begins January 5th and continues to Feb 2nd. Time for the first session is 12:00 pm-1:00 pm. All throwing and fielding sessions will be held at the Sportsplex in St Charles.
The Sportsplex is located at 1400 Foundry St, St Charles.
Cost
Each session consists of 4 indoor fielding clinics. The cost for each session is $75.
A t-shirt will be included for the players!

STC SILVER HAWKS ANNOUNCMENT!
For the past 4 years the STC Silver Hawks have had a partnership with the New Lenox Lightning organization. It started with one 14U STC Silver Hawks team becoming a New Lenox Lightning team based out of St. Charles. The following year, through hard work from both organizations, the players and coaches, this team won a PGF national qualifier tournament. This qualified them for the PGF Premier Division National Championship in California. They finished in the top 25 of the PGF Premier 16U division at PGF Nationals. Many of these players are now playing for the New Lenox Lightning 18u Gold team.
With the success of this partnership over the last three years along with New Lenox Lightning’s 34-year history of developing collegiate players, we feel it is the right time to further deepen this relationship between our two organizations.
We are excited to announce that this upcoming 2023-2024 season we will be the home for Lightning Futures (13u and under), Lightning and New Lenox Lightning (14u -18u) teams. Our goal is to provide all our teams with the same player development and coaching philosophy that has made New Lenox Lightning successful on a national stage for the past 22 years. Our teams will practice at our St Charles East Side Sports Complex fields and train at our St. Charles partner facilities. Everyone within both organizations feels this enhanced partnership provides all our athletes the best opportunity to play at the highest levels, compete in the best tournaments and have one of the best college exposure paths offered in the area.

STC Silver Hawks Announce Partnership with New Lenox Lightning
The St. Charles Silver Hawks are excited to announce our partnership with New Lenox Lightning. The St. Charles Silver Hawks will continue to offer our competitive 10U to 18U girls fastpitch softball teams and are committed to player development, building confidence and character. Partnering with New Lenox Lightning, a club that is respected regionally and nationally, allows us to provide all our 14U to 18U student athletes with an ELITE college exposure path.
Whether our St. Charles teams wear a Silver Hawks jersey or a New Lenox Lightning jersey, everyone will benefit from the sharing of resources, coaching collaboration, and our common goal of growing the game of softball.

About New Lenox Lightning:
New Lenox Lightning is a fastpitch softball organization that travels throughout the country playing the best competition at the Class A and Gold levels! The lightning teams play PGF, USA Softball, Triple Crown and an array of the best College Exposure tournaments across the country. We expect to qualify and participate every year at the PGF Nationals or USA Softball Nationals. College recruiting is the major focus for every coach 14U through 18U.
